Newton's Writings
"On the Shielding of Her Lenses"
They are the most attractive
And the most vulnerable
They allow the white or dark knight
Into your beloved bastion

Revealing sections of the spirit
Only reached through your silent vigil
The spectrum of earth tone hues
Dazzle,
And compel me to puzzle

What's your name gal?
And why have you let your guard down?
Now,
Sit up straight
And close those lids down tight
Even if that blinds your sight
Otherwise,
They pierce my soul,
Knock on the door of my fortress,
Hold me up with their sincerity,
And grant me entrance to your heart.
