Writing the Adventure of Your Life
English IV Journals
2007-2008 School Year
South Stanly High School

Instructions: These are your journal writing assignments for the semester.  Essentially, these assignments are designed to be reflective points for you to do some creative writing and thinking on your own.  Each entry should be thoughtful, supported, grammatically correct and at least one, solid page in your Daybooks.  Two are due each week. You may do them in class if you have spare time or at home for homework.  Daybooks are turned in for a check EACH Friday, so make sure you are responsible and keep up each week.  You must do them in this order.  Label them in your daybooks with a creative title pertaining to your thoughts on that particular section. At any point in the semester, if you are uncertain about a certain topic, let me know ahead of time.  Exit Sheets are a great place to ask if you have any questions or concerns about these. Think about the topics, be honest, support your responses, and try to enjoy writing!
